Jeanne Hugo (1869-1941) was grandaughter of Victor Hugo; she married Leon Daudet in 1891 and divorced him in 1895; in 1896 she married Jean-Baptiste Charcot (1867-1936), French scientist and Antartic explorer; in 1905 she divorced him on the grounds of desertion;
