Von Stalingrad bis Nurnberg', pub. by Burda, Druck & Verlag, 1952; Nicola Bombacci (1879-1945) Italian Marxist and friend of Mussolini; Colonel Giuseppe Gelormini; Benito Mussolini (1883-1945) Italian fascist leader; Clara Petacci (1912-1945) Mussolini's mistress; Alessandro Pavolini (1903-1945) Italian fascist politician and journalist; Achille Starace (1889-1945) Italian fascist leader and Party Secretary of thr Partito Nazionale Fascista (PNF); All apart from Starace were shot on 28 April in the village of Giulino di Mezzegra and then driven to Milan where they were hung upside down from an Esso petrol station on the Piazzale Loreto;
