The British Quad Crown poster for Hammer's first Gothic horror film ranks alongside Dracula for sheer collectability. The artist is unknown, although it is probable that Jock Hinchcliffe made a contribution. In 2008 the Royal Mail carefully adapted the design of this poster, along with Dracula and The Mummy, for use on postage stamps.
