The white-flowered " Ink Plant" (Cycnium tubatum, Harvey) in front, with the rosy Hibiscus pedunculatus, Thunb., blue Plectranthus, a white and purplespotted species of Asystasia and the little scarlet Striga coccinea, Benth., which sticks in the throats of incautious cattle and chokes them. At the bottom on the right is a graceful Phyllanthus having its small leaves in two rows and tiny white flowers hanging below them.
