Exhibitions I have regularly taken part in art fairs locally, selling my miniature original etchings, until this year. I sell some of my original prints at the Illustration Cupboard gallery in London, and my work has featured in their Winter Show for the last three years (2007–9)
Statement My etchings are printed 'à la poupée', meaning that I apply the coloured inks to the plate at the same time, as if painting. The plate is then put through the press and one impression is taken. This process can take some time, and sometimes needs repeating. I enjoy illustrating all kinds of stories, and the books I have illustrated for The Folio Society have ranged from fairy tales to a novel set in the 1940s. I have also worked for Templar Publishing and the Radio Times magazine in recent years.
