Since its foundation in 1965 the Israel Museum has become an encyclopaedic museum of Middle Eastern art and archaeology. With an expansive collection of art and design in nine distinct cultural departments from across the continents, plus resources on Judaica and Jewish Ethnography and a full exhibition and education program, it is a first class resource and master in its field.
