An elf conducts an orchestra of birds
A delightful illustration of an elf conducting an orchestra of birds is now available as a print. British artist Richard Doyle (1824-1883) created this illustration for a book In Fairyland, originally published in 1870. Most famous as a fairytale illustrator, Doyle also designed the cover of the first edition of Punch, and was Arthur Conan Doyle's uncle.
