Product details Keele Hall
The present hall, pictured here, was built between 1856 and 1861 by the architect Anthony Salvin, and replaced the hall built by Ralph Sneyd in the 1580s. Grand Duke Michael of Russia purchased the lease of Keele Hall for ten years in 1901, and had many visitors during his stay including Edward VII. The Hall was used as the university library until 1966, and it currently used for lectures and functions. c.1930-45
