Sunbeam cars became well known for their quality and endurance, including the famous 'Silver Bullet'. Both Malcolm Campbell and Henry Seagrave used Sunbeam V12s for their World Land Speed record attempts. Seagrave became the first man to drive a car over 200 mph (203.79 mph) on the measured mile in 1927.
