Vue du Marche & de la Fontaine des Innocens
Fontaine des Innocents, Paris, made by Jean Goujon and Pierre Lescot in 1546-1549 to celebrate the entry of Henry II and Catherine de Medicis in Paris. The name of the fountain derives from the nearby 'Cimetiere des Innocents' (now demolished); it is decorated with carved water imagery.
