Every framed picture is created by hand in our workshop by specialist framers.
Black, white, silver, gold or natural frames available, supplied ready to hang.
All our frames have a smooth satin finish, and measure 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall).

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Freshwater hydra
Freshwater animal of the class hydrozoa, clinging to the side of a glass vessel. This creature, usually referred to as a 'polyp' was the subject of a major series of researches by the Swiss naturalist Abraham Trembley (1710-1784) whose work is cited in the letter accompanying this illustration. Figure pasted into a letter by the Honourable Charles Bentinck, the Hague, 15 September 1741, to Martin Folkes at the Duke of Richmond's, Whitehall, London. Charles Bentinck was the brother of Willem Bentinck (1704-1774) 1st Count Bentinck.
