Studies of native Australian tools. Figures A-S including war, hunting and fishing spears; a stone hatchet; a boomerang [described as 'a kind of a blunt sword']; a club and a bark basket. With an inset figure illustrating the use of the woomera (spear thrower). Plate 63 from Journal of a voyage to New South Wales...by John White (J.Debrett, London, 1790). The plate is inscribed: 'Implements of New South Wales. London. Published as the Act directs Dec: 29, 1789, by I.Debrett.' There is an inset scale of 1 ¢ inches. to 1 foot.
