Plate 28, 'Monograph of the Coccidae of the British Isles', by Robert Newstead (Ray Society, 1900-1902). Figures 1-9 studies of Ischnaspis filiformis, including views of the insect on a portion of palm leaf, the adult female, and details of female pygidium, larvae and puparium. Natural size and at x25, x50, x100 and x250 magnifications. Signed below 'R.Newstead ad nat del.' Several figures have been pasted onto a main backing board. The facing page is a corrected [in pencil] proof version of captions, 'Explanation of Plate XXIV'.
