Plate 24, 'Monograph of the Coccidae of the British Isles', by Robert Newstead (Ray Society, 1900-1902). Figures 1-2 Mytilaspis pomorum, views of the insect on the branch of an apple tree, natural size. Signed below 'R.Newstead ad nat del.', cropped and initialled 'R.N.' A replacement illustration for the figures on the subsequent whole plate. An attached sheet is inscribed in pencil 'Mytilaspis pomorum Bouche, Retd. 15 May 1900'.
