Every framed picture is created by hand in our workshop by specialist framers.
Black, white, silver, gold or natural frames available, supplied ready to hang.
All our frames have a smooth satin finish, and measure 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall).

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Portrait of Heinrich Christian Schumacher (1780-1850)
Half-length portrait of Heinrich Schumacher, seated, body half-turned to the right as viewed. The astronomer sits in a high-backed wooden chair with rounded arms incorporating a carved leaf design. The background is entirely red patterned wallpaper. Schumacher is dressed in a black suit with a high-collared white shirt and tie. He holds a small rounded box in both hands, possibly a spectacles-case, with a black and gold fluted surface. Heinrich Schumacher was elected a Foriegn Member of the Royal Society in 1821.
