Every framed picture is created by hand in our workshop by specialist framers.
Black, white, silver, gold or natural frames available, supplied ready to hang.
All our frames have a smooth satin finish, and measure 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall).

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Full length studio portrait of James Bateman posed leaning against a pillar with a painted landscape backdrop behind. The sitter is turned slightly to the right as viewed. Bateman wears a dark coat over a white waistcoat and light trousers. He holds a top hat and gloves in his right and left hands respectively. Printed below the image: 'MAULL & Co. LONDON'. The reverse is variously inscribed and printed: 'MAULL & Co. Photographers, 55 GRACECHURCH STREET, 187a, PICCADILLY, and TAVISTOCK HOUSE, FULHAM ROAD, LONDON' There is a pencilled negative number: '39155'. James Bateman was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1838.
