Every framed picture is created by hand in our workshop by specialist framers.
Black, white, silver, gold or natural frames available, supplied ready to hang.
All our frames have a smooth satin finish, and measure 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall).

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

'Silex quartzum'
Eight specimens of flint pebbles, generally split or sectioned, from various locations including from near London and from Norwich in Norfolk. Plate 88 from British mineralogy: or coloured figures intended to elucidate the mineralogy of Great Britain, by James Sowerby, volume 1 (London, R.Taylor & Co., 1804). The accompanying text states that 'Flint pebbles, so universally known in the vicinity of London, are not so well known everywhere...The forms and colours of common flints are extremely various, and they give strong indications of being formed by infiltration and aggregation...They are often useful, as at Sandown Castle, near Deal, to defend the coast from the encroaching ocean.' The plate is inscribed: 'Augt. 1 1804. Published by Jas. Sowerby, London.'
