Plate 25 from the paper "Particulars respecting the anatomy of the Dugong, intended as a supplement to Sir T.S.Raffles account of that animal", by Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.110 (1820), pp.315-323. Study of a young female dugong (Dugong dugon), a specimen sent to Everard Home by Thomas Stamford Raffles. With faint pencil sketches of the form of the tail, lower right. Royal Society stamp verso with the inscription "On a scale of two inches to a foot".
