Every framed picture is created by hand in our workshop by specialist framers.
Black, white, silver, gold or natural frames available, supplied ready to hang.
All our frames have a smooth satin finish, and measure 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall).

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Edward John Poynter, President of the Royal Academy
Edward John Poynter, President of the Royal Academy, 1880. During a visit to Rome in 1853 he made the acquaintance of Lord Leighton, who encouraged him to study art futher. He strongly admired contemporary French painting, and in 1857 became a pupil in the atelier of Charles Gleyre, where he met Whistler. He first exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1861, and continued to exhibit annually until his death in 1919. He was elected RA in 1877, and made president in 1896. He was appointed Slade Professor of Art, at University College London, in 1871. In 1875 he was appointed principal of the National Art Training School. He created works for such institutions as the Houses of Parliament and the South Kensington Museum. From Men of Mark: a gallery of contemporary portraits of men distinguished in the Senate, the Church, in science, literature and art, the army, navy, law, medicine, etc. Photographed from life by Lock and Whitfield, with brief biographical notices by Thompson Cooper.
