Image 1- the upper lid of each eye is drawn up and the mouth partially opened creates an expression of veneration or reverence. The pupils are also turned upward. Image 2- The eye-brows are dragged upwards, and the eye-lids draw up and above the pupils and the lower jaw is pulled down to create an expression of terror.
