Inscribed above: "Fries Icon.Hymenom. 24.". Inscribed below each figure: "AGARICUS (TRICHOLOMA) PORTENTOSUS.FR." and "AGARICUS (TRICHOLOMA) FUCATUS.FR." Inscribed below: "E. Fries direx. E. Petterson del.Lith. o.tr.h. Abr.Lundquist & Cie." Elias Magnus Fries (1794-1878) was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1875.
