British pop singer David Bowie pictured when he was known as Davie Jones, outside the BBC Television Centre waiting to speak to Barry Langford, producer of the show "Gad Zooks Its All happening". Davie and his group were banned due to the length of their hair but the producer eventually allowed them to appear on the Monday's evening show on condition they get their hair done by BBC TV Make up department. 5th March 1965
