Actress Julie Samuel who has been chosen to appear with the Liverpudlian pop group Gerry and the Pacemakers in the United Artists film "Ferry cross The Mersey" pictured here with the band's lead singer Gerry Marsden during filming at the Edgwarebury Country Club at Elstree. She plays Gerry's girlfriend Doddie Dawson in the film, daughter of a rich shipping magnate, who bullies him into entering a big "Beat Competition". 12th June 1964.
