Every framed picture is created by hand in our workshop by specialist framers.
Black, white, silver, gold or natural frames available, supplied ready to hang.
All our frames have a smooth satin finish, and measure 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall).

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Filling a balloon with hydrogen gas
Scene showing the inflation of a balloon by hydrogen gas piped from a barrel. The gas was produced by the reaction of sulphuric acid and iron. A preliminary balloon of this type was flown at the Champ de Mars in Paris, France on the 27 August 1783 an event witnessed by Benjamin Franklin. Plate 3 from the book Description des expÚriences de la machine aÚrostatiques de MM.de Montgolfier, by Faujas de Saint-Fond (Paris, 1783). Inscribed below : 'Bertault sculp.' This hydrogen balloon was designed by Jacques Alexandre CÚsar Charles (1746-1823) and the Robert Brothers, Anne-Jean Robert (1758û1820) and Nicolas-Louis Robert (1760û1820).
