Our expertise and use of high-quality materials means that our print colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Plate 15 figure 1 from the paper 'Some farther account of the fossil remains of an animal, of which a description was given to the Society in 1814', by Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.106 (1816), pp.318-321. The painting is annotated lower left: 'Scale. Half an inch to an inch. The bones of the Paw a dull black, or brown. Ribs bluish black. The Clay slate colour.' Additionally, in pencil: 'To be reduced to 3/4 of an inch to an inch.' The fossil was in the possession of William Buckland and collected by Mary Anning. Royal Society stamp verso.
