Our expertise and use of high-quality materials means that our print colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Harold II swears fidelity to Duke William of Normandy
Harold II swears fidelity to Duke William of Normandy, 1064 (1864). Harold (c1020-1066) swearing an oath on sacred relics before William of Normandy (1028-1087) to support his claim to the English throne on the death of Edward the Confessor. Harold's failure to honour this oath led to William invading England in 1066 in pursuit of his claim. He defeated Harold at the Battle of Hastings. Harold, the last Anglo-Saxon king of England, was killed in the battle. From a private collection.
