Our expertise and use of high-quality materials means that our print colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Two profile portraits within a circular inscription, with putti above and the allegorical figure of time, with a scythe, below. Inscribed above 'NUMISMA GERMANUM INCLYTO SUI NOMINIS VIRO D:' The circular inscription reads: 'IO: BAPT: FORNASARIUS IV: COLL: Bon: Nob: in Patr: Archig: I.C.ord: de sero &HIPPOL: ABBAS Primar, de mane Fratres Emeriti.' With a quotation from Cicero below. Inscribed lower right 'F.Francia sculp.' In pencil lower left '1696' Ippolito Fornassari (1628-1697), Italian clergyman and brother to G B Fornassari, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1696. This print was presumably collected in error.
