Wearing a long dark coat, textured single-breasted waistcoat and dark tie over a white shirt. Embossed oval stamp below: "HENNAH & KENT, 108, KING'S ROAD, BRIGHTON." In pencil lower right "Robert Hudson"; lower left "1834". Robert Hudson was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1834.
