Royal Palace, Madrid, Spain, early 20th century. With portraits of King Alfonso XIII of Spain (1886-1941) and his Queen Consort, Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg (1887-1969), a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. The couple married in Madrid on 31 May 1906. The palace was built between 1738 and 1755.
