Plate 17 from the paper 'Observations on the Hirudo complanata, and Hirudo stagnalis, now formed into a distinct genus under the name, Glossopora', by James Rawlins Johnson, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.107 (1817), pp.339-346. Thirteen figures of Glossopora tuberculata and Glossopora punctata. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details. Initialled lower left 'J.R.J. delt.' Royal Society stamp verso. Watermarked 'G&A'.
