Our expertise and use of high-quality materials means that our print colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Plate 19 figures 1-9 from the paper "Farther observations on the feet of animals whose progressive motion can be carried on against gravity", by Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.106 (1816), pp.322-330. Nine views of legs from the yellow Saw-fly (Cimbex lutea) at x100, x400 and x1,600 magnification. Signed lower left "Franz Bauer". Royal Society stamp verso, with an inscription in ink: "Figs. 1,2,3 are magnified 100 times. Figs. 4,5,6,7 - 400 times and Figs. 8,9, - 1600 times."
