We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Head and shoulders portrait of Urban Hjõrne in an oval frame supported by a sculptural plinth. The sitter's face is angled to the left as viewed, the eyes regarding viewer. Hjõrne is shown wearing a shoulder-length wig and a neck-cloth or cravat. Portrait frontispiece to Actorum chymicorum Holmiensium Parasceve, id est praeparatio ad tentamina in Regio Laboratorio Holmiensi peracta...by Urban Hierne (Stockholm, J.H.Werner, 1712). The plate is inscribed lower right 'El. Brener amica manu pin et sculp.' The oval frame has a heraldic badge at the lower edge and contains the inscription: 'URBANUS HIAERNE S.R.M. SUECIAE ARCHIATER PRIM AET 71'. The supporting plinth has a longer inscription, commencing: 'Qui Suinas Sophiam veram, qui Chemica, Fontes, HIAERNIUS...' Urban Hjõrne was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1669.
